First of all happy Saint Patrick's Day everybody!

Now to talk about how my family's Springbreak worked out.

On Monday we left for Branson after lunch, incase you are wondering the drive down there is little over 3 hrs. The only place we stopped at was Buc-ees just to stretch our legs.

We arrived at a vacation house near the Sight & Sound Theater and Billy Gail's Restaurant.

Right when we walked in it smelled REALLY BAD!! The previous tenants smoked something! They even removed the all smoke detectors on the first floor! I'm not sure if it was weed or regular cigarettes. Either way we spent the first couple hrs trying to get rid of that awful smell! Opening windows, along with both the front and back doors and using air freshener. Along with washing some sheets (the master bedroom is where the smell was strongest).

Sadly despite our efforts the smell remained during our whole stay! It was the MAIN reason we left early!

Anyway we out for dinner after closing the doors, and closing some windows. We left Gracie at the vacation house, while we went to eat at a place known as Cheddars, it's a nice little restaurant around the same area as the Hollywood Wax Museum and Beyond the Lens. I was

able to see some those buildings through the window.

After dinner we headed back to the vacation house and tried to get rid of the smoke smell some more. The basement of the place the home was quite nice, had a couple extra bedrooms, bathroom, some couches, pool table, bar, tv, air hockey table and a fuse ball one.

I spent the rest of the night playing pool and watching Duck Dynasty on a Roku tv.

The next day and only full day at Branson. My dad, kid sister, & I headed to Silver Dollar City.

We had a lot of fun going on the rides, Fire in the Hole doesn't officially open until the end of the month, but they were doing a soft opening. So we got to ride it! My sister and I even got front row seats! :D

I've always been more of a dark ride enthusiast, than a roller coaster junkie. Speaking of that we only went on 4 out of the six roller coasters and those were fun. Long with the Flooded Mine, we even ate lunch there. I also took a lot of pictures and played Pokemon Go.

We didn't really bother going to shows, the crafting stuff, or the cave tour. We headed back to the vacation house in the afternoon. Smell of the weed was still there!

We spent the rest of day the resting while my dad was contacting the owner of the place and let them was going on. They offered us a discount, then informed us that they were going to send a clean up crew the next night. So we had to leave the next day after going to see Queen Esther at the Sight & Sound theater.

My parents and kid sister couldn't stand sleeping inside that place because of the smell!

The finally morning my dad, kid sister and I headed out for breakfast at Billy Gail's Restaurant. The pancakes were huge! After breakfast we dropped the leftovers off with my mom and packed up somethings. We then headed to Historic Downtown Branson for little bit, then we heading down to the landing area and visited the Brass Bro Shop around there walked around for abit looking at the shops around that area.

We headed back to the house and ate leftovers for lunch. The whole family (Gracie included) visited the Tanger outlets nearby us. We only hung around there for about an hr before heading back to the vacation house and packing up everything.

We had to leave Gracie there while we headed to see Queen Esther at the Sight & Sound theater. I honestly enjoyed the show, they did a fantastic job!

I recommend that you get there about an hr early so you can get a good parking spot. It helps when you sit more in the very back rows, you can see way more of the stage and it's easier to get out of.

My dad did leave during the second act so he can get Gracie and pick us up.

We had to leave during the ending, but I'm honestly kinda used to that. Growing up, my family would always leave shows and concerts during the last song to avoid heavy traffic.

Anyway we did stop at a McDonald's during car ride home for dinner to go.

By the time we got home, it was after dark. After we unpacked everything, I took Gracie out for her last bathroom break before bed. I also put her thunder shirt on her and placed her on my bed.

Next morning we woke up to loud thunderbolt! The door to my room open, my dad was there asking if Gracie was with me. I got her off my bed, sent her with my dad. That goldendoodle really doesn't like thunderstorms! While I was getting dress the tornado siren in my area suddenly went off! My sister knocked on my door and reminded me to get my shoes on.

While my bros and I were growing up when we heard about tornadoes, before we took shelter we always put our shoes on, and when were little we also wore helmets incase we ever had to get pulled out the rubble. Both our head and feet would be safe.

Thankfully no tornadoes hit our area, throughout the day. Yet I did hear the siren go off again while I was in the shower. My dad and I brought Gracie to vet that afternoon. She has an odd skin condition at one area, we were concerned that might be ringworm.

The vet explained to us that it wasn't ringworm, apparently one of those zit things popped on her back and she started licking it causing an infection to spread, they had to shave off part of her fur so her skin could heal.

They gave us the medication and suggested that we get Gracie an inflated collar, so we picked up one at the local Pet Smart. More accurately my dad picked it up while Gracie and I waited in the car. It was starting to storm and I told my dad that if I heard sirens. I was gonna take Gracie and bolt us both inside Pet Smart! It's safer to be inside a building, than a vehicle during a tornado.

The rest of the week was mostly calm, although I'm sad that I didn't really do much in Branson... I have a lot more to look forward to visiting and seeing next time I go there.

Have any of you been to Branson? What were the highlights of your trip?

Got to spend a lot of time with my extended family on Christmas Day.

My siblings and their families came in the next day so we had our 2nd Christmas together. A great time! Went to Top Golf.... I'm surprised how well I did with the Angry Birds mode!

Now the new year has started up for a while.

I'm kind of sick, just a cold...

I had watched this on New Years Day.... Hamilton Animal Crossing style!

Best way to kick it off. Even though I am little sick.

I had found this in my notes here on DA...

Hi ToaDJacara,

DeviantArt is excited to share that our beta testing program has returned, and is being revamped and revitalized to allow more deviants to contribute and help improve future features.

You’ve received this note because you previously enabled the setting to become a beta tester. While you previously opted in, if you want to participate in the beta testing program moving forward, you’ll need to add the beta testing program journal to your favourites to opt-in to the new program.

Because of the program's revamp, the old Core Member setting to opt-in or opt-out of beta testing has been removed. Along with it, the beta tester username symbol has been phased out; however, as long as your current Core Membership remains active, you’ll keep the old beta tester username symbol, regardless of whether or not you opt-in to the new beta testing program. Because new beta testers won’t receive the username symbol, you can consider your symbol to be a collector’s item of sorts! (Please note that if your Core Membership should lapse, you will lose the symbol and there will be no way to regain it.)

Your continued support of DeviantArt is appreciated, and we’re thrilled to have you take part in shaping the future of the community.

~The DeviantArt Team

I copied, pasted and italics it on here, because I want to know who else got this message besides me?

I might seem a little concerned about this being either a joke or spam... Mainly due to the fact I had to put up with some annoying fraudbots spamming me.

IF ANY OF YOU GET OFFERS TO USE YOUR ART FOR MURALS AND GETTING PAID FOR THEM... THEY ARE SCAMS TO GET TO YOUR CREDIT CARD!

This guy also is warning others about the fraudbots.
