Meanwhile
Right across the street from the Cantina, a couple police speeders had arrived coming out of the first one was a 6f t tall humanoid robot with white/silver/dark blue armored under an opened brown trench coat, Chief Sebastian Gordon a veteran law enforcement officer and the head of DCPD (Dodge City Police Department).
 
While out of the driver's side came a slightly shorter robot with copper/blue armor wearing a  police hat,  Officer Donald "Don" Taylor. The two had been close friends since they were small.
"Gordon the two calls we got from here, one from Marsha about some thugs breaking in and the other from a concern neighbor." He reminded breaking the silence as he reached into his armor and pulled out a police standard stun gun.

Gordon nod, already holding a 9mm handgun ready to use it if necessary.

A tall, horned figure was partially visible by the light coming out from Cantina's neon light sign and the front windows.
"Freeze! You're under arrest!" Gordon shouted loud enough for the being to hear.

Romulus was unfazed by their presence. He gripped his spear tightly in his hands, pointing it toward the one of the police speeders, ball of shadow energy came out of the spear hitting base of a streetlight, causing it to fall right on top of the vehicle!  Miraculously the two officers inside the damaged speeder managed to get out unharmed.

Gordon, Don, and the other officers were stunned.  The criminal started walking away, but the Chief quickly regained his composure, aimed his pistol and fired at him!  
But the bullets had no effect on Romulus, it didn't even slow him down! Before anyone could pursue him, he reached into his armor, pulled out several small balls tossed to ground creating a thick smokescreen!   

A beeping sound was heard followed by a roar of what sounded like a hoverbike,  and a dark laugh. As the smoke cleared a hoverbike was seen taking off into the distance.

"Brad get a couple speeder patrols on that hoverbike pronto! Don you, along with Rebecca Valentine, and myself will check out the Cantina." Gordon ordered.

"Roger, Chief!" Officer Brad Chelmey a blue/grey armored police bot said back saluting him than got on a radio relaying his orders, along with the fleeing criminal's description and the vehicle he was driving.

Rebecca Valentine a young blue/pink female robot had only joined police force about a several months ago she was still learning the ropes, but was eager to come along.

Gordon, entered the building first followed by Rebecca and Don. The trio noticed one of the tables was knocked over, menus, an empty napkin holder, and salt & pepper shakers were on the floor, along with a frying pan that was a couple feet away near the counter.
"Looks like a struggle took place here Chief." Rebecca muttered stating the obvious .

"Moe! Marsha! Are you ok?" Gordon called out already entering the kitchen with Don. Both of them along with their fellow officers were regulars at the Cantina and good friends with the owners.
Don opened up a wooden door, to find Marsha inside a walk-in pantry. "Marsha what happened here?" He asked while adjusting his hat.
"Where's my husband?!" She asked back with concern.

Almost as if responding to her question, they all heard loud knocking sound coming from a locked heavy solid steel door only a couple feet down from them. Gordon ran toward it and knocked back asking."Moe is that you?"
A familiar voice shouted back respond followed another knock, "Get me out of here!"
It took a couple minutes for the police chief, to find the key which happened to be conveniently located right on top of the frame for the door.
Right the freezer door opened up, Moe fell right of there onto the kitchen floor!

Marsha quickly ran over to her better half, and despite Moe being cold she tightly embraced him asking with relief in her voice,"Moe are you all right? Did those rust buckets harm you?"

"What happened here?" Don asked.
"Give him a second to warmup." Gordon said.

The blue/grey robot stammered for a bit, before they could clearly make out. "Romulus and his henchbots took Clarisa! "
"Romulus? Isn't he that intergalactic criminal wanted in several galaxies?" Don asked while taking notes on a tablet.

Moe nod, then he and his wife explained what had happened as they knew it.
The robot couple also pointed out a few security cameras around the Cantina. The first one showed the counter and the main entrance, the second one showed the side entrance, and the last one showed part of the kitchen. Gordon asked for their permission to view the security footage.  They immediately agreed, since they figured it would make the investigation smoother for the authorities.  
While the restaurant owners and cops saw the video footage of the girl being kidnapped by those criminals, two beings entered the Cantina.  One was a man wearing a dark reddish colored cloak over what appeared to be modern human clothing combined with armor with the hood up, the other was a tall white/black/light green armored robot with a capital 'H' ensign on his silver/black chestplaste.

Chelmey immediately noticed the duo and blocked them getting to the kitchen where the others watching the footage, demanding. "Hold it!  This is a Police  operation! What business do you two have to be here?"
 
The tall robot responded firmly. "Hey, I am Merrick Fortis head of Hero Recon Team! "

The man than lowered his hood revealing his kind face, he appeared to be human expect for his yellow eyes and short dark reddish hair. Around his neck clearly visible was a crystal pendant on a silver chain.
"I am Cedric Parr and my niece was the girl that was kidnapped!" He declared.

"Cedric when did you get into town?" Moe asked with a some relief in his voice as he walked out of the kitchen.
Chief Gordon looked puzzled by this revelation exclaiming."Clarisa is YOUR niece!?"

The man nod reaching into his cloak, he pulled out a black leather wallet. Opened it and pulled out a few pictures and set them on the counter. Fortis, along with the robot officers,  and the Cantina owners were able to see them.

The first photo depicted Cedric two other men, one was his younger brother Isaiah  and other was immediately recognized as the late Benjamin Parr.
"Benjamin, Isaiah, and I were very close while growing up. We always looked out for each other even after the Demon of Death murdered our parents."
Cedric continued to explained that Benjamin fell in love with a Muggle woman. Long story short, they got married, had adventures in other worlds, and a couple years later had their daughter.
The second photo showed the couple and their daughter taken a couple months ago in their apartment.

"Clarisa has inherited her father's Arcadian blood, eyes,magic, and stubbornness. Along with her mother's beauty and kindness. " He ended with guilty look on his face. "She is still young, the dark forces no doubt seek her power for an evil purpose and that is what concerns me the most."

Everyone was quiet for a few minutes, as they let his words sink in.
"Where is Isaiah then?" Marsha asked knowing that two cared dearly about their brother''s family.

"What is that cat-thing and the red-eye creature?" Rebecca asked pointing at the final pictured which showed Isaiah with a Vortiguant wearing a red vest and female cat-like creature with pointed ears with short normal blue flowing hair, covered in white/cream colored fur with blue stripes, and a long narrow tail with a brush on the end, wearing blue jeans, a dark blue tshirt, and boots.  

"Oh that is our Vortiguant friend and my brother's foster daughter Keisha she is actually a Lombax." Cedric answered forming a half-smile. "They are on their way here now. We actually plan on meeting at our brother's old home, if you don't mind do you officers?"

Gordon shook his head than turned toward Fortis saying honestly." I know for fact that we mostly deal with local criminals and investigations. We do not have the resources or strength to arrest let alone attack an intergalactic crook like Romulus."

"We will be sending one our best Hero Teams after him and his group, but we will need alot of intelligence first that you can help us get. " Fortis said back with a firm nod.

Just at that moment Don got a call on the radio, he looked at Gordon saying. "Um Chief we got word that Romulus has already made it out of the city! "

"Let's head back to the station and we will send surveillance drones throughout the outskirts of Dodge City immediately!" Gordon ordered.
Shortly after the robot officers left the Cantina, Cedric picked up the pictures, put them back in his wallet, slipped it into his pocket, and got up from his seat on one of the bar stools.
Moe looked extremely guilty like a parent that was unable to protect their child, Marsha place a hand on her husband's shoulder.

"The next time you see Clarisa she will be with her new protector." Cedric declared as started walking to the front door, Fortis was already standing there waiting for him.

"But Cedric when will that be?" Marsha asked a little uncertain.

"Sometime tomorrow hopefully, also tell her that I'll be expecting her at her old home." The Arcadian man answered then left with his partner.

Once the duo were outside, they walked away. After walking for a couple minutes, Merrick spoke up. "Which Hero Team should we send after Romulus?"
"The Alpha Team, the gold one must be with them." Cedric replied firmly.
"Daniel Rocka, the 'New Furno'? What does he have to with this?"

"Isaiah had overheard Rocka talking to his teammates about a vision he had. The vision involved a fuchsia haired girl needing him on Karros. It is pretty obvious that the girl he saw is Clarisa."

"Understood, we better make preparations."
